Scott Kirkland
President
Why Scott?
Scott began his career in the construction industry in 1988. He joined Kirkland, Inc. in 1997 as a Superintendent before being promoted to Project Manager in 2000 and Vice President in 2003. In 2007, he assumed the role of President of Kirkland, Inc.
Since then, under Scott’s leadership, Kirkland has grown significantly and is a widely recognized leader in the office, industrial, hospitality, retirement, medical and private education markets. In 2010, Scott created “KI Mission Critical” which specializes in helping clients plan, budget, design, build, commission, and optimize critical IT server rooms and data centers.

Gary Falk
Vice President, Business Development
Why Gary?
Gary joined Kirkland, Inc. in 2004 and has a proven comprehensive mechanical, industrial, municipal and distribution background specializing in sales, marketing, communications and project development. He goes above and beyond to ensure that business partnerships and the overall success of a project meet the core values of Kirkland while representing our high reputation for quality, safety, reliability, and service. Gary is the first step in bringing our customers’ vision to a reality.

Derek McKee
Vice President, Construction Services
Why Derek?
Derek’s construction career began in 2004 as an Assistant Superintendent. Shortly after, his responsibilities progressed to Superintendent and Project Manager. Derek joined Kirkland, Inc. in 2015.
Derek has participated in all aspects of general contracting including on-site operations/safety, estimating, scope review, contract negotiations, cost control/projecting, and scheduling. He has experience in a wide range of project types including mission-critical, furniture showroom, medical, institutional, parking decks, industrial, and renovation/upfit. His experience also involves a broad spectrum of delivery methods ranging from conventional to modular/offsite construction.

Drake Evans
Director of Health and Safety
Why Drake?
Drake joined Kirkland, Inc. in 2020 with over 28 years of experience in occupational safety and health in construction, manufacturing, risk management and workers’ compensation insurance. He coordinates the company safety program, conducts jobsite safety analyses, conducts employee training and monitors sub-contractor safety compliance on project jobsites.
