SCOTT KIRKLAND

President

SCOTT KIRKLAND

Scott began his career in the construction industry in 1988. He joined Kirkland, Inc. in 1997 as a Superintendent before being promoted to Project Manager in 2000 and Vice President in 2003. In 2007, he assumed the role of President of Kirkland, Inc.
Since then, under Scott’s leadership, Kirkland has grown significantly and is a widely recognized leader in the office, industrial, hospitality, retirement, medical and private education markets. In 2010, Scott created “KI Mission Critical” which specializes in helping clients plan, budget, design, build, commission, and optimize critical IT server rooms and data centers.

SHERRI NEEDHAM

SHERRI NEEDHAM

In 1982, Sherri began her career in the banking industry before joining Kirkland, Inc. in 1994 as an Account Manager. Today, she serves as Kirkland’s Controller, overseeing operations within the Accounting department, Human Resources, and ensuring that everything within office operations runs smoothly.

DEREK MCKEE

DEREK MCKEE

Derek’s construction career began in 2004 as an Assistant Superintendent. Shortly after, his responsibilities progressed to Superintendent and Project Manager. Derek joined Kirkland, Inc. in 2015.
Derek has participated in all aspects of general contracting including on-site operations/safety, estimating, scope review, contract negotiations, cost control/projecting, and scheduling. He has experience in a wide range of project types including mission-critical, furniture showroom, medical, institutional, parking decks, industrial, and renovation/upfit. His experience also involves a broad spectrum of delivery methods ranging from conventional to modular/offsite construction.

GARY FALK

Gary joined Kirkland, Inc. in 2004 and has a proven comprehensive mechanical, industrial, municipal and distribution background specializing in sales, marketing, communications and project development. He goes above and beyond to ensure that business partnerships and the overall success of a project meet the core values of Kirkland while representing our high reputation for quality, safety, reliability, and service. Gary is the first step in bringing our customers’ vision to a reality.

BLAKE JONES

Director of Preconstruction

BLAKE JONES

Blake is a construction professional experienced in General Contracting, Construction Management and Developer/Builder. Over the course of his career, Blake has been involved in a wide range of building sectors including warehouse/distribution, retail, hospitality, student housing, multi-family, parking garage, and higher education (masterplan), and tenant improvement projects.

In 2023, Blake joined Kirkland, Inc. as Director of Preconstruction.
