Traveling Project Superintendent

Job Description

  • Ability to travel throughout NC, SC, VA & GA based on project location need.
  • Provide oversight for all aspects of the assigned construction project.
  • Responsible for site safety and adherence to OSHA standards and specific client/site requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the construction process.
  • Develop and manage project schedules.
  • Manage subcontractors’ performances and relationships.
  • Maintain daily safety and activity documentation for all field activities.
  • Coordinate and manage weekly onsite subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient job site.
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to ensure adherence to the project budget.
  • Responsible for project quality and compliance with project drawings and specifications.
  • Basic technology and computer skills (MS Office).

Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Ability to travel throughout NC, SC, VA & GA based on project location need.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • OSHA 10- & 30-hour certification.

Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting strong vendor and subcontractor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor and subcontractor invoices for payment, including:
    • Match invoices to purchase orders or subcontracts and reviewing for accuracy
    • Route invoices through the Foundation Accounting system for proper approval
    • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely approvals and resolution of any discrepancies
  • Enter and reconcile all receipts on company credit card charges; balance charges against monthly statements
  • Enter purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders into the system
  • Process weekly check payments to vendors and subcontractors; upload the check register to the bank via the positive pay system
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any outstanding items

Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
  • Accounting degree is a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new software programs
  • Able to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
